Virtual Heroes was chosen to exhibit at the first annual Simulation Showcase, held April 4 at Florida Hospital’s Center for Medical Simulation and Training in Orlando, Florida. Virtual Heroes’ Design Lead Brad Willson demonstrated products in the medical space, including Combat Trauma Physiology Simulator, FRS Robotic Surgery Trainer, Tuberculosis Consultation Training, and the Virtual Sedation and Airway Trainer.
Speakers at the event discussed the importance of inter-professional education through simulation, as well as the future of medical simulation. Leaders from the Florida Hospital medical simulation and training team discussed the institution’s shared services and resources and the impact simulations have had within Florida Hospital. Other exhibitors included Limbs and Things, VCom3D, TraumaFx, Laerdal, CAE Healthcare, and Sharecare.
